Alyssa Divine grew up in a smaller town as part of a close knit Italian family. She grew up around racing cars and and fixing them but her one dream was to always own her own shop. All Alyssa had dreamed of doing was racing cars and fixing them. She wanted to make her way to New York or even LA but she didn't think Falling in Love would factor into the equation. Or moving to Johnstown either for that matter...
She met Gregory James Wentworth at a bar in New York and it was an immediate attraction for them both. He began to tellher of his hometown, Johnstown. He told her that his Mother, Mary Wentworth, was an Algebra teacher at Johnstown-Monroe High School and his Father, Johnathon Wenworth, was a Realtor for Key Properties. He even told her of all the fun summers he spent with his friends at the Johnstown Skate & Swim or the Johnstown Bowling & Pizza.
When he asked her to marry him and move back to Johnstown she readily agreed he was her first love. Shortly after they arrived back in Johnstown Greg got a job at The Almendinger Sawmill. About a few months after their wedding Greg began acting very suspicious and strange. He was irritable and easily angered.
Alyssa had been about to ask for a seperation when Greg had died in a mysterious accident at the Sawmill. Of course it HAD to be a closed casket, or so his Parents had told her. Alyssa had already expected his parents to toss her out of the small house of Greg's but to her surprise...they didn't. Instead Mary & Johnathon Wentworth had insisted she stay because, Greg would have wanted it that way.
Alyssa stayed in Johnstown mainly because whenever she tried to leave his family begged her to stay or somehow her moving plans fell through. Alyssa has been her almost two years now and works at the Exxon Station as a Mechanic.
